GCU-OCD20 is designed to search and display cameras camouflaged in common objects, clothes, compact cameras in operation or disconnected under different lighting conditions.

MAIN FEATURES OF THE PROFESSIONAL DETECTOR GCU-OCD20:

  • Camera viewing is carried out by means of built-in pseudobinoculars.
  • Portable device for inspection and location of portable covert observation systems.
  • It locates all types of hidden, working or switched off cameras under different lighting conditions.
  • The body of the device is equipped with 5" external LCD monitor mount and connection, and also with standard external CCIR video signal socket for connection to external monitor, video recorder or computer, for better image display.

HOW TO LOCATE A LENS?

Every camera has a lens. The basic principle of operation is the "cat's eye" effect (light reflecting effect) which lies in the ability of optical objects to reflect the probing radiation in the opposite direction at an angle close to its angle of incidence. The semiconductor IR diode (transmission channel) serves as the source of the probe radiation.

The reflected signal is recorded by a sensitive video camera on the basis of the 1/3 interpolation transfer sensor (receiving channel). The device is developed with a parallax-free optical scheme, i.e. with optical alignment of receiving and transmitting channels.

The transmitting channel generates a laser beam in the form of a vertically located rectangular raster. The ability to illuminate the raster can be changed if necessary, depending on the distance to the surveillance object, for the reception of the best image contrast. The focused image sharpening is carried out by adjusting the lens of the video camera.
